CAMP THEMES

  • July 2 – 6, Arctic Adventure
    The frozen world of the Arctic will be our destination this week. Exploring glaciers, encountering wildlife and the wild colors of Northern Lights.
  • July 9 – 13, Art Down Under
    Things are a bit unusual in the Land Down Under. We’ll spend the week looking at the world from a different perspective.
  • July 16 – 20, Art Island
    We make an unscheduled stop on a tropical Island, where there’s a buried treasure of Art. Beware… there might be pirates!
  • July 23 – 27, Ancient ARTifacts
    Time travel takes us back to Ancient Civilizations where we discover the art of the past.
  • July 30 – Aug. 3, Raiders of the Lost Art
    A Week of Adventure as we try to unravel the Mystery the Lost Art.

Children, parents, and friends are welcome to take this opportunity to meet the Directors, Staff, Artist/Teachers and tour the campus, while learning more about the award winning Dutchess Arts Camp and its 31 year history.

Director Alice Seeger has 20 years of camp experience as a teaching artist and is excited to be directing the Poughkeepsie campus again this year. A visual and performing artist Alice shares her love and commitment to the environment and our global community.
