The charming two-story Parish Hall and surrounding grounds play host to a wide range of expressive arts activities where campers can explore, discover, create, & make new friends.

CAMP THEMES

  • July 30–Aug 3, Land of Imagination
    Enter a realm of imagination and possibility. Free yourself to create from the depths of your inner artist. Explore, experiment, take risks. Our creative artists will guide you as you discover the landscape of your imagination.
  • Aug 6–10, Super Hero Soup
    It’s a gumbo of color, sound, movement, and creativity! Mix your ideas with a pinch of imagination to cook up some wonderful art in a supportive community of artists. Be inspired by a super hero or create your own hero. It’s a bird, a plane, it’s Super Artist!

Children, parents, and friends are welcome to take this opportunity to meet the Directors, Staff, Artist/Teachers and tour the campus, while learning more about the award winning Dutchess Arts Camp and its 31 year history.

Director Brian Reid is a Red Hook native and resident. He has taught elementary school for more than twenty years and is on the faculty of the Poughkeepsie Day School. As a dynamic artist-educator at Dutchess Arts Camp in Millbrook for many years and Director of the Red Hook Camp, Brian has introduced scores of young artists to stained glass, paper marbling, kite making environmental education and more.
