This is an opportunity to showcase your programs, and meet and evaluate the Art Institute of Mill Street Loft students and high school students from throughout the greater Hudson Valley. This event is centrally located in Hyde Park, New York, halfway between New York City and Albany.
Arrive for our opening reception at the Wallace Center by 3:00 pm and enjoy a late box lunch, set-up your tables, and meet the staff of Mill Street Loft and The Art Institute.
Student reviews will be from 4:00 pm — 8:00 pm.
An “after-hours” event will be hosted by The Art Institute. Representatives are encouraged to join us and get to know the teachers and programs in our region. Gift bags are distributed to participating teachers. Please feel free to bring items/materials to include in these bags.
The $85.00 registration fee includes one lunch; there is a $35 fee for each additional representative.
The Art Institute, an advanced portfolio program in the arts, has been assisting high school age teens in receiving college scholarships since 1998. The program is completely run by professional artists, stressing skills and creative development in drawing, painting, sculpture and photography.
Mill Street Loft and The Art Institute hope that you will be able to participate in this year’s Portfolio Day. Please send in your enclosed registration form no later than September 1st to be included in all publicity materials.
