There’s an art to creating and sharing videos on “now you see it, now you don’t” social media such as Snapchat and Instagram. In this week-long workshop, students will engage ephemeral storytelling by…
- learning what makes these social media platforms so unique in the world of filmmaking
- creating short-yet-impactful videos for visual storytelling
- studying best practices in cinematography and social media marketing
- and learning how to make responsible decisions about what to share online.
This workshop will also cover shot composition, branding, character development, and app-based editing. Students will also gain skills in engaging an audience, finding their voice, and developing a strong follower base based on proven techniques. Ages 10-14
Registrants requested to bring their own iPads/devices (equipment will be provided to those who need).
