| Seth Nadel is a graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture and the HS of Art and Design, NYC. His rural and urban landscape oil paintings are represented at Callen Fine Art Gallery in New Orleans, Morningside Fine Art Gallery in Latham N.Y., & Mark Gruber Gallery, New Paltz.
William Noonan has a BFA from SUNY Purchase and has studied at the NY Academy of Art, the Art Students League, NYC and the International School of Art, Umbria Italy. After a career in graphics and publishing at the Village Voice in NYC, William returned full-time to his first love, fine art. His work is exhibited locally, on Cape Cod, through internet venues and is in numerous private collections.
Todd Poteet
Director of The Art Institute of Mill Street Loft also owns Pen & Ink Creative, a graphic design firm. He holds a BFA in illustration and a Master’s in art education, and has taught at Pratt Institute’s Saturday School, LaGuardia HS for Visual and Performing Arts. He is the recipient of prestigious awards including: Mill Street Loft’s “Friend of the Arts Award”, the Dutchess County Executive Arts Award for Art Education, The “40 Under 40 Shaker Award,” and the “Congressional Medal for the Arts.”
Rick Price has a MFA from Savannah College of Art & Design as well as extensive teaching experience at Buck’s Rock in CT, mural painting in San Francisco and Beacon, illustration commissions, and has exhibited his fine art work nation wide.
Amanda Reardon
received Bachelors degrees in 2006 from SUNY New Paltz in Visual Arts Education and Fine Arts in Ceramics. She is an artist assistant to local ceramicist Anat Shiftan, and enjoys creating large scale ceramic sculptures that combine nature and the female form.
Brian Reid, Director of Dutchess Arts Camp Red Hook, taught elementary school for more than 20 years and is on the faculty of the Poughkeepsie Day School. He has introduced scores of students to stained glass, paper marbling, kite making, environmental education and more.
Robert Rodriguez Jr is a professional landscape photographer specializing in images of the Hudson Valley where he has lived for 15 years. He also travels frequently to capture images in diverse locations such as New England, the Adirondacks, Nova Scotia, and the American southwest. His images have appeared in numerous publications including the NY Times, and his work has been used by many non-profit organizations including the Mohonk Preserve, and Audubon Society. Always looking to expand his creative potential, he is currently working on a documentary film highlighting the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley region, and it’s influence on the iconic artists of the Hudson River School.
Roberto Romani
Teaches stained glass at the Dutchess Arts Camp and is on the faculty at Spackenkill High School and an adjunct teacher at SUNY New Paltz. Roberto holds degrees in Liberal Arts and Humanities from the Universidad de Barcelona, a Bachelor’s in art and sculpture from Buffalo State and a Masters in Art from SUNY New Paltz. |
Alice Seeger has been weaving and sharing her knowledge of traditional textiles for more than 3 decades. She is Artist in Residence for Fiber College on Penobscot Bay, Maine, is also a Master Gardener Volunteer for Cornell Cooperative Extension, and is Director of the Dutchess Arts Camp in Poughkeepsie.
Chris Seubert is an exhibiting artist & educator who earned his BFA with honors from Pratt Institute & MFA Cum Laude from NY Academy of Figurative Art. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Dahesh Museum in NYC; has appeared in American Artist Magazine and currently teaches at Marist College and SUNY Ulster.
Elizabeth “Tilly” Strauss created a coloring book for Dutchess County Tourism and her art was featured of three regional magazines. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Colorado U. Boulder, Tilly’s “Treasure” map is installed at the Poughkeepsie NY, Metro North train station.
Nina Tantillo-Elton has developed many innovative programs to teach art, creative movement and “out of the box” thinking to children, teachers and adults. She is Adjunct Professor at SUNY New Paltz and the College of Mt. St. Vincent in Yonkers, NY, and owner of Elton Associates, a marketing & public relations firm.
Ann Miceli Teed, Director of Dutchess Arts Camp Millbrook, is a teacher, a visual and performing artist, professional musician, and author of the book and DC, A Journey to the Land of Imagination, which received the 1999 Parent’s Choice Gold Award. Ann is a faculty member at the SUNY New Paltz Art Education Department, attended the Lincoln Center Institute training and is working on her PhD at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Laura Hammond Toonkel is an adjunct lecturer and internship coordinator at Marist College’s Department of Art and Art History. She holds a MFA from Pennsylvania State University and a BFA from School of Visual Arts. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is included in corporate & private collections.
Eric Wilkerson, a graduate of SVA, is a freelance visual development artist and is currently working as lead concept designer for the Blue Man Group and as a concept designer for Weta Workshop in New Zealand, on unannounced projects. Past clients include, Walt Disney, Activision, Nickelodeon, MTV, and Science Fiction Book Club. |
