The National Art Honor Society of The Art Institute of Mill Street Loft is presenting its 7th annual juried high school photography exhibition, EXPOSURE, open to all high school students grades 9 – 12 at the Mill Street Loft Gallery in Poughkeepsie, New York in collaboration with Barrett Art Center’s Photoworks ’10.

Exhibition dates:
April 17 — May 7, 2010
Entry Deadline:
March 26, 2010, 5pm
Notification of acceptance:
April 2, 2010
Accepted work due by:
April 12, 2010, 5pm

Submission procedure
(to apply for Photoworks contact Barrett Art Center)
Send 35 mm slides (no glass or adhesive labels) or photographic prints (5 x 7 or larger). Digital or montage work must be completely the work of the applicant. No borrowed work, even in part, will be accepted. On the side of the slide the work is to be viewed or on the back of the print please indicate clearly the following: Name of Artist, Title, Medium, Dimensions, Top (please indicate top of artwork for viewing). The collaborative effort between Mill Street Loft and Barret Art Center will feature a group opening at both facilities and a city wide assortment of photography exhibitions. Students may apply for both shows by contacting Mill Street Loft and Barrett Art Center.

Entry Fee
$15.00 entry fee includes up to 3 entries. 2 additional entries will be accepted for $3.00 each. Artists may submit up to 5 photographs. Completed entry form and submissions must arrive to Mill Street Loft no later than March 26, 2010, by 5pm to be considered.

Awards
A number of cash awards and other prizes will be given to accepted entrants who demonstrate exceptional ability, originality, mastery of the medium and/or creativity as determined by the jury.
