DROP TV is our teen filmmaking program. Over the course of the summer, DROP TV youth create original short films across multiple genres that go on to be seen at film festivals, local screenings, and on social media.
DROP TV youth, under the guidance of professional and peer mentorship, are involved in all aspects of production (and post-production): they draft and research story-lines, write scripts, scout out locations, schedule shoots, film and edit their works.
DROP TV is also a workforce development program. Our youth producers are hired for the summer as employees, and youth receive training that prepares them to enter the workforce. This process provides local youth the marketable skills they need to further develop their goals and careers, in the world of media, and beyond.
